Frets and Stix Music was established in 1992 by Andy Griffiths, well known drummer and musician in Australia and internationally recognized author of Progressive Rock Drumming.

Andy is the owner and manager and has over 40 years experience in performing, recording and songwriting throughout Australia, having spent 7 years in Sydney and Melbourne as part of his Professional playing career.

Andy is supported in the shop by, Danielle Griffiths.

We have a variety of musical instruments and accessories for sale.

We also offer Guitar, Drum and Bass Guitar Lessons at the shop premises..

Lessons

Professional Teachers

Learn What You Want

Our music lessons are conducted on the premises, as a one on one lesson, for 1/2hr duration, once a week. Unfortunately we can not do fortnightly lessons.

 

Tuition available with experienced teachers in

  • Bass Guitar

 

Whether you are a complete beginner, want to play round the camp fire, or join a band, we can point you in the right direction.

 

Lessons operate on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 4pm to 9pm.

Drum Kits

We have a good range of entry level, DXP drum kit packages, which include, cymbals, stool and sticks, which we deliver and set up free in the southern suburbs. You also receive one free in home tune up with every acoustic kit purchased.

All kits are available and on display instore.

  • Carlsbro kits have a 2 year warranty.
